Why it is important to send a letter
Mailing a letter is better than e-mail
Elected officials are keenly aware of the effort it takes, or doesn't take, to send a message -- and the weaker the message you send, the less influence it will have. When you go out of your way, and take time out of your day to convey a message, people notice. One personalized letter is the equivalent of 100 emails or form letters. Please use the letters on this site only as a template, and customize to include your personal angle. Print the letter on your own/business letterhead. Let your representatives know how important saving America's human space exploration program is to you!
